Our Story

My name is Julia Vacala, and I am the founder of Vianne Clothing. Vianne Clothing emerged in February 2023 as a rebrand of my previous reselling account, which I started when I was 16. My passion for sustainability and the environment has always been at the forefront of my journey in fashion. Vianne Clothing was created to highlight the detrimental impacts of fast fashion and encourage more sustainable shopping habits.

The fast fashion industry is responsible for 15% of global carbon emissions each year and is often linked to exploitative labor practices and poor working conditions. In response to these issues, Vianne Clothing serves as a sustainable and ethical alternative that not only addresses the challenges of fast fashion but also actively reduces clothing waste.

We offer a unique range of products handcrafted from both second-hand clothing and sustainable fabrics, ensuring that every item we create embodies our commitment to quality and ethics. Our approach involves reimagining and redesigning pre-loved garments, as well as sourcing eco-certified, organic, recycled, and fair trade textiles. Each piece we sell is one of a kind, reflecting our dedication to individuality and responsible production.

The name "Vianne," derived from my middle name and the French word meaning "alive," encapsulates our mission: to breathe new life into garments that have already lived and into fabrics that are ethically sourced and environmentally sustainable. Beyond waste reduction, Vianne Clothing aims to instill confidence and joy in our customers, allowing them to express their personal style through our unique creations.

By choosing Vianne Clothing, you are making a conscious decision to embrace sustainability and minimize your environmental impact. We hope that all who wear our garments will feel a sense of aliveness and authenticity, empowering them to present their most vibrant selves to the world.
